Top-ranked Kentucky made some history Friday, setting a scoring record for most points under coach John Calipari in a 111-76 rout of UT-Martin.

The fabulous freshman backcourt of Malik Monk and De'Aaron Fox combined for 42 points, and the Wildcats shot 55 percent from the field as they topped the previous mark of 110 points set against Auburn in 2015.

Kentucky had six players score in double digits and dominated the Skyhawks on the glass by a 50-26 margin. The Wildcats have won six games to start the season by an average of 28 points, but the road gets tougher starting next week.

Arizona State is up next on the schedule with UCLA waiting five days later. Whether tougher opponents will be able to slow down the fast-paced Wildcats attack remains to be seen, but when you consider the talent Calipari has had in Kentucky, Friday's 111-point mark is an incredibly impressive figure.
