Hughes comfortable with positioning despite intense 4-way tie

Still, Mackenzie Hughes is feeling good heading into Monday's playoff at the RSM Classic, where he'll have another chance to earn the first victory of his inaugural PGA circuit.

Hughes will battle Camilo Villegas, Henrik Norlander, and Blayne Barber for the win at Sea Island after Sunday's playoff was postponed due to darkness.

Hughes shot a roller coaster 69 on Sunday, and momentarily lost the lead, but he was content with the way he held it together.

"It was quite a fight out there, and I didn't have my best stuff by any means, but I found a way to dig deep and just get in that playoff," Hughes said, according to Sean Martin of PGATour.com.

After all, still having a shot at your first PGA win is a good position to be in.

"I'm still playing, so I'm in a good spot," Hughes said.
