Doris Burke accepts Drake's dinner invite
Drake couldn't get a victory from his Toronto Raptors on "Drake Night" for the first time in four games, but he may have still won in the end.
Toronto's global ambassador made headlines for wearing a Doris Burke-inspired "Woman Crush Everyday" shirt to Wednesday's game, then proceeded to profess his love for the affable ESPN sideline reporter during the national broadcast.
"Usually on Drake Night I get to do courtside commentary. My inspiration is Doris. I think she's a stunning woman, incredible at what she does. I wish she was here tonight - just sending all my love to her," Drake told ESPN before proceeding to blow kisses into the camera.
"But yeah I love Doris with all my heart, so hopefully she knows that she's woman crush everyday, that's why I wore this shirt. Let her know: dinner at my house anytime as long as she comes alone," Drake added.
Burke wasn't working the game, but she was following along, and took little time before accepting Drake's invite.
