It's been setback after setback for Denver Nuggets shooting guard Gary Harris to begin the 2016-17 season. He just can't seem to stay healthy.

The 22-year-old could be out up to four weeks as he deals with a foot injury, head coach Michael Malone told reporters Tuesday, according to Chris Dempsey of The Denver Post.

The injury occurred during Saturday's 106-95 loss to the visiting Detroit Pistons. Harris played 28 minutes that night, scoring 13 points on 5-of-11 shooting while also handing out four assists.

His foot got worse overnight, resulting in the third-year pro sitting out the following game against the Portland Trail Blazers, and Denver dropping its fourth straight game and fifth in six attempts.

Harris, who sat out the first four games of the campaign with a groin strain, is averaging 10.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.4 assists while shooting 45.7 percent from the field.
