Watch: Snoop Dogg endorses Nurmagomedov as next lightweight contender

Khabib Nurmagomedov earned some fans in high places with his dominant win over Michael Johnson at UFC 205.

No less authority than "Tha Doggfather" himself anointed Nurmagomedov as the next champion at 155 pounds. On Saturday, Snoop Dogg posted a video on Instagram of himself heaping effusive praise on the Russian grappler who sports a gaudy 24-0 professional record.

"Khabib playing games, putting his nuts in his face and all kinds of s---," Snoop said. "He could hit him with the elbow backwards if he wanted to, you know that, right?"

Despite initially struggling to pronounce Nurmagomedov's name, by the end of the match Snoop clearly has himself a new favorite fighter.
