Report: Rams considering starting Goff in Week 11

Kelvin Kuo / USA TODAY Sports

The Jared Goff era is reportedly imminent.

The Los Angeles Rams are considering starting the 2016 No. 1 overall pick in Week 11 if Case Keenum struggles Sunday against the New York Jets, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Rams face the Dolphins at home in Week 11, meaning Goff would get his first start in a favorable environment.

Los Angeles has the 23rd-ranked passing game over the first nine weeks of the season, and the offense has put up just 20 combined points over the last two weeks.

Head coach Jeff Fisher has continuously refused to place blame on Keenum for the stagnant offense, but at 3-5, there's little doubt a change under center is needed.
