Social media reacts to Woodley vs. Thompson ending in majority draw
Tyron Woodley retained the welterweight title via majority draw against Stephen Thompson at UFC 205 on Saturday. The back-and-forth affair was initially declared a split decision win for "The Chosen One" before announcer Bruce Buffer corrected himself and anointed the verdict a majority draw, as two scorecards had the bout at an even 47-47.
Here's what the Twitterverse had to say about the fight ...
Tyron is still really dangerous with his back to the fence. A lot of people overlooking it.

OMG insane rd 4. Woodley drops wonderboy twice, has him out in the feet, jumps for deep choke. Doesn't get it 3-1 #AndStill #UFC205

48-47 Wonderboy I think. Could easily see it 47-47 if you give Woodley a 10-8 4th round#UFC205

... and the ensuing snafu:
Dana White just came in and said it's a draw. Again, either way, the belt stays with Woodley. But geez.

I love that Bruce Buffer almost refused to announce a score he know was a mistake! Not his first rodeo #UFC205

Please let @demianmaia fight for the title! I know some want an immediate rematch, but that REALLY sucks for the Brazilian. #UFC205

Demian Maia is somewhere slamming his fist through a wall. He's the biggest loser of that result.
