Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal will not be in uniform against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night due to a hamstring injury.

He's currently listed as day to day.

Beal was forced from Wednesday's 118-93 victory over the Boston Celtics in the third quarter after sliding on the hardwood and pulling his right hamstring.

He ended the night with just three points on 1-of-8 shooting.

No structural damage was revealed in the scan of his right leg following the win - a huge sigh of relief for Beal, who has a storied history of missing extended periods of time due to injury. In fact, he's sat 19 or more games in three of the four seasons he's competed in Washington.

The 23-year-old is currently averaging 15.4 points and 2.4 assists in 31.3 minutes, connecting on a horrendous 36.6 percent of his field-goal attempts and just 29.4 percent from 3-point range for the 2-5 Wizards.
