The vibe around the Washington Wizards is decidedly toxic.

A loss to the Houston Rockets on Monday dropped the Wizards to 1-5 on the year and tensions boiled over down the stretch with their starting point guard.

John Wall was ejected after picking up his second technical foul with 33 seconds left. On the broadcast, the sequence looked rather innocuous - he brushed against an official.

Crew chief Marc Davis explained after the game that Wall was ejected for using inappropriate language after bumping him.

"For inappropriate language and using vulgarity towards a game official. He already received his first technical foul," Davis said. "After granting the team a timeout, I felt there was contact and he bumped me. I wasn't certain of his intent. I told him to watch himself. He looked over his shoulder and used vulgarity and inappropriate language and was ejected on his second technical foul."

Wall had 21 points and eight assists along with six turnovers in the loss.
