Uh, what's going on with Ronaldo's Twitter account?

Global footballing icon Cristiano Ronaldo has never shied away from the limelight, but in recent weeks, the Real Madrid man has posted some rather uncharacteristic photos on his Twitter account.

In the last two weeks, Ronaldo went from tweeting daily photos from training sessions, matches, and the occasional selfie to posting photos that are a little more, well ... see for yourself:

We're not quite sure what Ronaldo is promoting here, exactly (if anything). One of the photos is for a line of footwear, though. Whatever Ronaldo's intentions are here, the reaction has largely been laughter and parody, as Stoke City's Peter Crouch demonstrates:
