The Cleveland Browns' poor luck with injuries at the quarterback position continues.
Cody Kessler was taken to the locker room Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals and was evaluated for a concussion after taking a big hit midway through the second quarter from defensive end Carlos Dunlap.
Kevin Hogan entered the game at quarterback and the Browns later confirmed the injury and announced that Kessler would not return.
Hogan had already seen several snaps under center against the Bengals as a change-of-pace option, becoming the sixth quarterback to see the field for the Browns this season.
Kessler has started the last five games after injuries to Robert Griffin III and Josh McCown.
