One of Hollywood's most beloved actors is on your side, Cleveland.
After closing out Saturday Night Live - which he hosted for the ninth time - Hanks signed off by saying "Go Tribe," and it immediately caught the attention of numerous sports fans on social media.
It's not clear why he's supporting the Indians, though with so many well-known Chicago Cubs supporters (we're looking at you Bill Murray), it is refreshing to see a celebrity go in a different direction.
Game 1 of the World Series will be played Tuesday at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
