The Chicago Cubs are hoping the flag that gets waved at the end of Game 6 is a "W" and not an "L".

With an opportunity to advance to the World Series for the first time in over 60 years, the Cubs are confident the traditional "Cubs Win Flag" will bring their team some good fortune for their important Game 6 against the Los Angeles Dodgers Saturday night.

Giveaway towels with the well-known "W" will be handed out to fans at Wrigley Field before the game, with every player from their roster featured to make up the "W". The tradition began sometime in 1937 after the scoreboard at Wrigley was first constructed, and has since been a staple for Cubs fans after every win.
