Here are the fantasy implications following the announcement that Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Doug Martin suffered a setback during the bye week and is not going to play on Sunday:

It's the Jacquizz Show

With backup Charles Sims on injured reserve, it's back to Jacquizz Rodgers as the feature back against the San Francisco 49ers. When it looked like Martin was scheduled to return following the team's bye, Rodgers' fantasy value returned to zero and he promptly returned to the waiver wire.

Drop what you're doing and pick him up right now. He is a must-start in Week 7 for a couple of reasons. No team has surrendered more rushing yards than the 49ers, who have allowed five consecutive 100-yard rushers and nine rushing TDs in that time.

Rodgers drew the Week 5 start against the Carolina Panthers and rushed 30 times for 101 yards, while adding five receptions for 28 yards. The Buccaneers will not be shy with his usage against the 49ers' league-worst rush defense.

Deja vu Doug

Last season featured a full 16-game season of Martin after two injury-shortened campaigns. A year later, health seems a long way off for Martin's owners, who likely burned an early, third-round pick on the diminutive back expecting newfound durability. It's time to pump the brakes on those expectations going forward, too.

Not only does this dampen 2016, it also casts Martin's future value in doubt. If he can't stay on the field, the returns he provides in season-long formats aren't worth the headache. Even if he does come back healthy in Week 8, and doesn't miss another game, you have to consider his prolific injury history heading into next season.

As for the rest of this season, Martin owners have to find an insurance policy. If that means rostering Rodgers for the remainder, so be it. He's not a drop candidate, but he can't easily be traded, either. Competitors will see him as damaged goods and you'd be lucky to even get 50 cents on the dollar for him at this point.

Not getting IR status means he'll have to eat up a bench spot, which is problematic in the interim. But you can't drop him. Someone will pick him up immediately, and if he returns anywhere close to his 2015 form down the stretch, your opponent wins for cheap.

Make Mike Evans your cash game anchor

In daily fantasy, Evans is now the most valuable wide receiver on Sunday's slate. With seemingly the entire team sidelined with injuries other than he and QB Jameis Winston, he might set a new team record for targets in a game. He already leads the NFL with an average of 12 targets per game. Expect Sunday's total to be higher, even if Rodgers runs the ball 30 times again.

Evans might also have tournament upside, but the volume of passes bound to be thrown his way locks him in with one of the highest floors imaginable. The alternatives have very little appeal.

In season-long formats, Evans owners need to hold onto him for dear life or ask for the moon. In addition to Week 7, Evans should have a cake matchup with the Oakland Raiders in Week 8. He's a top-5 WR through the end of the season barring injury.
