Hugo Lloris' stop against Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday is an early candidate for the save of the Champions League.
In what looked to be a guaranteed goal for the Germans, the Tottenham 'keeper somehow managed to leap across the goalmouth and get his fingertips on the ball before smothering it on the goal line.
The ball was so close to crossing that goal-line technology was needed to prove he had managed to keep it out of the net.

The contest ended goalless, thanks primarily to the Frenchman.
