Riyad Mahrez did his best to help supporters forget about Leicester City's miserable weekend loss to Chelsea when he lifted the Premier League champions to a first-half lead Tuesday on FC Copenhagen.

The Algerian international secured a 1-0 lead minutes before the break when he got on the end of Islam Slimani's headed pass across the penalty area and acrobatically guided the ball into the back of the net.
