Watch: Pederson's clutch solo HR ties game in 7th inning

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson's clutch, first career postseason home run off Max Scherzer evened Thursday's winner-take-all Game 5 against the Washington Nationals at one in the top of the seventh inning.

Before issuing the home run, Scherzer cruised through six shutout innings while striking out seven Dodger batters.

Pederson became the first Dodger to hit a a game-tying home run in the seventh inning or later since Mike Scioscia in 1988, according to ESPN Stats and Info.
