Cowboys' Prescott earns national SI cover
Dallas Cowboys rookie quarterback Dak Prescott is quickly on the verge of becoming a household name, and is featured on the national cover of Sports Illustrated this week.
Prescott has led the Cowboys to a 4-1 record in the absence of Tony Romo, completing 69 percent of his passes for four touchdowns, while rushing for three more. He has yet to throw an interception.
As part of the magazine's long-form profile, Prescott details skipping a Kanye West concert to get a good night's sleep, while teammates rave about his maturity.
"It’s like he’s not even a rookie," Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley said to Pete Thamel. “It’s like he’s a five-year vet."
If Prescott continues starring for one of the NFL's most prominent franchises, this won't be his last national cover.
