Wade: Bulls winning title is 'unrealistic'

Dwyane Wade is making sure to temper expectations for the Chicago Bulls this season.

While the Bulls' new shooting guard believes Chicago has a shot at making the playoffs, the 34-year-old told reporters it's "unrealistic" to think that they can win a title in 2016-17.

Wade's assessment of his new team isn't what fans want to hear, but it's certainly realistic given the Bulls' current makeup. Chicago has made headlines with their signings of Wade and Rajon Rondo this summer, but aren't likely to go far given the team's expected struggles on offense.

Instead of focusing on winning a championship, Wade believes the Bulls need to take it one step at a time, and center on improving on a day-to-day basis.

After spending the first 13 seasons of his career with the Miami Heat, Wade opted to leave the only team he's ever known in July, signing a two-year, $47.5-million deal with the Bulls.
