Report: Fosu-Mensah agrees to new Manchester United contract

Timothy Fosu-Mensah is on the verge of being rewarded with a new contract following his positive start to life at Manchester United.

After months of negotiations, Fosu-Mensah will put pen to paper on a four-year contract that will keep him at Old Trafford through 2020, according to Peter O'Rourke of ESPNFC

The new deal is expected to be announced after the international break.

Despite only making a pair of appearances this term, manager Jose Mourinho is said to be an admirer of the 18-year-old after his impressive displays last season when Fosu-Mensah was first given a chance to play under former boss Louis van Gaal.

The new agreement also ensures his long-term future at United considering his current contract was set to expire next summer.
