Chris Wondolowski lets his numbers do the talking.
In Friday's historic friendly in Cuba - the first between the host and the United States in nearly 70 years - the much maligned San Jose Earthquakes striker lifted his record to a commendable 11 strikes in 35 international appearances when he bagged the opener on 62 minutes.
The exhibition was a drab affair until Wondolowski stepped up, with Julian Green, making his second start after his first in September 2014, adding another tally in the 71st minute with a tap-in.
