Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins was arrested Friday morning and charged with a misdemeanor count of driving under the influence, reports Greg Auman and Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.

The 23-year-old was stopped around 4 a.m. ET, and remained in custody as of 8:30 a.m.

Seferian-Jenkins also faces a separate charge for violating a court-ordered Ignition Interlock Device restriction stemming from another DUI in 2013, while in college.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, Seferian-Jenkins was driving at 75-80 mph in a 55-mph zone, and cut off a FHP trooper while making an improper lane change.

The police report stated he "performed poorly" on field sobriety tests, declined to provide a breath sample, was "agitated," had slurred speech, and smelled of alcohol.
