Capitals re-sign Dmitry Orlov

The Washington Capitals re-signed defenseman Dmitry Orlov to a one-year, $2.57-million contract, the team announced Wednesday.

Orlov, 25, appeared in 82 games with the Capitals last season, scoring eight goals and 21 assists.
