Here are the fantasy repercussions of Indianapolis Colts WR Donte Moncrief missing the next four to six weeks with a sprained thumb:
#Colts coach Chuck Pagano says at his press conference that WR Donte Moncrief has a fractured shoulder blade. He’s out 4-6 weeks.

Moncrief, Indianapolis' WR2, sustained his shoulder injury in the second quarter of Week 2's contest against Denver. He was immediately removed from action in order to be checked for concussion symptoms but ultimately failed to return. Now, after an MRI revealed a shoulder fracture, he isn't likely to return until Week 7 at the earliest.
The Colts do have a Week 10 bye, however, and could keep Moncrief out up to eight weeks if they wanted to be truly conservative with his recovery timeline. Moncrief owners will want to monitor is recovery closely.
Without Moncrief, the Colts will turn to T.Y. Hilton and Phillip Dorsett as the unquestioned WR1 and WR2, respectively. Neither has posted a 100-yard game just yet, but that should change this week against San Diego.
Fantasy-wise, Hilton had an ADP in between the third- and fourth-round, so he won't be available in fantasy leagues unless an aggressive trade offer is made. Dorsett, on the other hand, is owned in approximately half of fantasy leagues, and should be a significant target for any team in need of a wide receiver. Look for Dorsett to command a FAAB bid of approximately 15 - 25% of your budget.
Last season, Dorsett had 18 receptions for 225 yards with a 12.5 Yards Per Catch average. As Indy's first-round selection in 2015, he was expected to take on a larger role this season, and that point should now be accelerated with Moncrief sidelined.
Dorsett's primary threat is his speed. He has the ability to take the top off any defense. Through the first two games this year, Dorsett has just five catches but has amassed 124 yards, resulting in a YPR of 24.8. With big play capability, Dorsett is a great tournament DFS play going forward and a strong FLEX option in season-long formats.

Waiver Wire Targets
-
Terrelle Pryor Sr., Cleveland Browns: A former quarterback at Ohio State, Pryor has transitioned to his role as a wideout somewhat successfully. He's seen 17 targets, caught six balls, and gained exactly 100 yards. With QB Cody Kessler set to take the reigns in Cleveland, though, expectations for big time performances should be kept in check.
FAAB Bid: 1-5%
-
Brandon LaFell, Cincinnati Bengals: LaFell looks to be Cincinnati's WR2 behind A.J. Green. LaFell out-snapped Tyler Boyd 72-60 in Week 2 while also seeing three red-zone targets. After a Week 3 matchup with Denver, Cincy lines up against Miami, Dallas, New England, Cleveland, and Washington.
FAAB Bid: 3-6%
-
Cole Beasley, Dallas Cowboys: Beasley has been a solid PPR play this season, catching 13 of his 18 targets. He's totaled 140 yards through two weeks but has failed to find the end zone. Beasley is by no means an exciting choice, but he seems to have a steady floor in PPR formats as QB Dak Prescott's safety valve.
FAAB Bid: 1-3%
