Here are the key news and notes for Wednesday, September 21:

Warrant out for Josh Gordon's arrest

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that there is an warrant out for Gordon's arrest after he failed to respond to several months worth of subpoenas in a paternity case. The case stems from a complaint made in juvenile court from Christina Lockhart of Maple Heights, Ohio, who says Gordon is the father of her now 1-year-old daughter.

Fantasy Impact: The disappointment and head shakes never seem to end with Gordon. The talented yet, troubled receiver is already serving a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy. If you own Gordon, the best thing to do is to trade him, as someone in your league may be unaware of this recent news.

Josh Norman will shadow Odell Beckham Jr.

Fantasy Impact: After plenty of criticism from the media for keeping Norman at left cornerback, he will now shadow a top receiver for a full game. The only place he won't follow Beckham Jr. is the slot, but he doesn't line up there very often. Beckham Jr. had 6-76-1 when he and Norman met last year. He's still a must-start in season-long, but stay away in DFS.

Julian Edelman being groomed for backup QB

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman is being prepared to handle backup quarterback duties in Week 3, against the Houston Texans, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Should QB Jimmy Garoppolo (shoulder) be ruled out, rookie QB Jacoby Brissett will receive the start, with Edelman prepared in case of emergency.

Fantasy Impact: Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (hamstring) is expected to make his season debut in Week 3, with an appearance from Edelman likely leading to a disappointing performance. Edelman is one of three Patriots receivers to have thrown an NFL pass in their careers, but at 5-foot-10, 200 pounds, no one wants to see him under center with Texans DE J.J. Watt coming at him.

Colts add WR amid Donte Moncrief injury

The Indianapolis Colts signed WR Devin Street off the Patriots practice squad Wednesday. Street was a fifth-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys in 2014, but he had amassed just nine catches for 132 yards through 31 games.

Fantasy Impact: With Moncrief out 4-6 weeks, Street serves as nothing more than a depth contingency plan. WR Phillip Dorsett will start opposite WR T.Y. Hilton. Dorsett has to be owned in all league formats, and he has WR2 upside in a Week 3 matchup against the San Diego Chargers.
