New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees passed former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino to take possession of third place on the all-time passing-yardage list with 61,362 yards.

He accomplished the feat with an 8-yard pass to tight end Coby Fleener in the second quarter against the New York Giants.
