Draymond says he was like an annoying girlfriend when recruiting KD
Draymond Green has received a lot of credit for convincing Kevin Durant to join the Golden State Warriors this offseason.
Just what lengths did Green go to in order to woo the marquee free agent?
"I recruited KD really hard," he admitted in a recent appearance on "Conan."
"And it was like the equivalent of a college coach trying to get a top-five recruit - although I would've broke every NCAA rule there was, because I called him a million times. I texted him a million and one times. And I tried to show up wherever he was every chance I got."

That's intense - even for Green, who realized afterward that he may have taken it too far.
"When I found out he was coming, I came back to my senses, and I said, 'I wonder if he respects me as a man now, the way I just blew his phone up.' He had to have a girlfriend who got on his nerves worse than that before. So, I questioned myself," he explained.

Knock Dray all you want for being a creep, his tactics worked.
The jury's out on whether his new teammate KD still respects him, though.
