Bills' Watkins active Thursday vs. Jets

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins is officially active for Thursday's game against the New York Jets.
Watkins' status was up in the air throughout the week after he emerged from the regular-season opener with soreness in his surgically repaired foot.
Head coach Rex Ryan indicated the team has no plans to shut him down, but it appeared possible the wideout's lone limited practice on a short week could result in him being held out.
Watkins remains the Bills' clear-cut No. 1 barring a significant decrease to his workload, and he'll presumably draw Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis in coverage.
The former first-round pick hauled in four receptions for 43 yards in a Week 1 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
