Paris Saint-Germain gave his team a 1-0 lead over Arsenal in four seconds of this Champions League opening fixture, but this horrible gaffe might prove to be his most memorable contribution to the match.
Cavani tracked his run as Nacho Monreal misplayed an interception behind Laurent Koscielny, then pounced on the loose ball, rounding goalkeeper David Ospina and setting himself up for a second goal.
But Cavani watched in agony as his shot sailed just wide of the left-side post, and sometimes, that's just how it goes.
