Vancouver Canucks fans have to be excited.

Team Sweden beat Finland 6-3 in World Cup exhibition action Saturday, and were paced early on by their top line of Loui Eriksson, Henrik, and Daniel Sedin.

Eriksson scored his second and third goals of the pre-tournament - all of them assisted by at least one of the Sedin twins - in the first period, both on the power play. The trio will comprise Vancouver's top line this coming NHL season, after Eriksson joined the Canucks in free agency.

Sweden dominated the first period, outshooting the Finns 14-2. Finland woke up in the second period, scoring twice, but the Swedes went into the third with a one-goal lead and proceeded to put the game away.

While Eriksson was the man in the first for the Swedes, Patric Hornqvist took over in the second and third periods, scoring twice and adding two assists in the final 40 minutes.

Henrik Lundqvist, who sat out Thursday's exhibition between the two countries, wasn't busy, and wasn't all that sharp. He stopped only 11 of 14 shots. His counterpart Tuukka Rask wasn't great, either, stopping 22 of 27 shots. Sweden had a marked advantage in shots on goal: 28-14.

Rasmus Ristolainen, Mikko Koivu, and Erik Haula scored for Finland. Ristolainen added an assist and Joonas Donskoi finished with two helpers. Patrik Laine, the second overall pick by the Winnipeg Jets in the 2016 draft, played 15 minutes, including 5:30 on the power play, and finished pointless with a shot on goal and a giveaway.
