Yet another record belongs to the timeless Serena Williams.

The world No. 1 captured her 307th Grand Slam match win at the US Open on Saturday to set the women's singles record in the Open era.

Martina Navratilova held the previous record at 306, but her mark has since been surpassed twice in the same season by both Williams, and by Roger Federer, who earned his 307th win at Wimbledon.

With Federer ailing due to a knee injury, Williams has a fantastic chance to surge ahead of the Swiss maestro by continuing her dominance at the US Open.

Williams made short work of No. 47 Johanna Larsson 6-2, 6-1 in under an hour to advance into the Round of 16. She will face No. 52 Yaroslava Shvedova on Monday.
