Florida State's Travis Rudolph joins student with autism for lunch

When Florida State fan Bo Paske arrived at Montford Middle School on Tuesday, he probably didn't expect Travis Rudolph to have lunch with him, but that's exactly what happened, according to Safid Deen of The Orlando Sentinel.

Rudolph, along with several other FSU players, visited the middle school to have a meet-and-greet with students. During lunch time, the wide receiver noticed Bo, a student with autism, eating at a table by himself.

"I asked if I could sit next to him, and he said, 'Sure, why not?'" Rudolph said after practice Tuesday. "I just felt like we had a great conversation.

"He started off and was so open. He told me his name was Bo, and how much he loves Florida State, and he went from there."

While Bo was clearly excited to spend time with Florida State's leading receiver from last season, Bo's mother, Leah Paske, may have been the most thankful.

"I'm not sure what exactly made this incredibly kind man share a lunch table with my son, but I'm happy to say that it will not soon be forgotten," she wrote in a Facebook post. "This is one day I didn't have to worry if my sweet boy ate lunch alone, because he sat across from someone who is a hero in many eyes."

"It was really easy to (talk) with him," Rudolph said. "He had a nice smile on his face. He was really a warm person."
