Lions place Pettigrew, Fuller on PUP list

Mike DiNovo / USA TODAY Sports

The Detroit Lions placed tight end Brandon Pettigrew and wide receiver Corey Fuller on the physically unable to perform list Tuesday.

Pettigrew is still recovering from a torn ACL suffered in December, while Fuller is healing from foot surgery.

As a result of the designation, both players will miss the first six weeks of the regular season.

In a corresponding move, the Lions waived cornerback Brandon McGee.
