Lakers sign Zach Auguste

The Los Angeles Lakers have signed forward Zach Auguste, the team announced Monday.

Auguste went undrafted in June after four years at Notre Dame. The 6-foot-10, 240-pounder has a frame tailor-made for the NBA power forward position. However, questions have been raised about his strength in the post when matching up with stronger competition. Additionally, he is not a stretch threat as he possesses no outside shot.

Auguste played four games for the Lakers' Las Vegas Summer League entry. The team's roster now stands at 16 players.
