76ers' Embiid: 'I feel 100 percent'
After a two-year wait, Joel Embiid should be on track to make his NBA debut this season.
"I feel 100 percent," the 22-year-old center told reporters Saturday at the Philadelphia 76ers' Beach Bash event. "I'm ready to get started, and my summer has been great."

Embiid was cleared by the Sixers in June to scrimmage in 5-on-5 settings, and he's looked impressive in footage that has leaked out from his workouts. The Cameroonian 7-footer hasn't played a minute of NBA basketball since being picked third overall in the 2014 draft, the victim of a severe foot injury and two subsequent surgeries. He expects to have a minutes restriction when the preseason rolls around.
Embiid said he'll "probably" have playing restrictions but they'll be because he hasn't played in years, not because of re-injury concern.

How the Sixers will fit Embiid into a rotation that currently also features fellow bigs Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel remains to be seen. Trade rumors have circulated regarding both.
