McGregor to earn record-breaking $3M fight purse at UFC 202

Conor McGregor has earned a payday worthy of the hype surrounding his rematch against Nate Diaz at UFC 202.

According to MMA Fighting's Marc Raimondi, McGregor will earn $3 million, while Diaz will take home $2 million. The Irishman's purse snaps the previous record of $2.5 million, which Brock Lesnar made at UFC 200. Neither fighter will earn a fight bonus.

Co-main eventers Anthony Johnson and Glover Teixeira are being paid $135,000 and $65,000, respectively, for their light-heavyweight clash, while Donald Cerrone gets $85,000 for his welterweight matchup with Rick Story.

All three fighters can double their money with a victory.
