Lions activate Levy from NFI list

The Detroit Lions activated linebacker DeAndre Levy from the active/non-football injury list Tuesday morning.
The veteran defender began camp on the list though the team didn't clarify whether he was still recovering from a hip injury that kept him out of all but one game last season.
Prior to that, Levy played in every game of the 2014 season and set career-high marks for tackles (151) and sacks (2.5).
If fully recovered, Levy will jump right back into the Lions starting lineup.
