Ravens' Tucker hits 69-yard FG in practice, side bumps Harbaugh

It may be in practice, but a 69-yard field goal is still impressive.

Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker managed the feat during training camp Sunday, and was rewarded for his achievement with a leaping side bump from head coach, John Harbaugh.

"It's really a mindset you just have to have before you even think about stepping onto the field from the sideline," Tucker said, according to Jake Lourim of The Baltimore Sun. "And (coach John Harbaugh] asked, 'Are we kicking this?' And I ran out there and I said, 'Hell yeah, we're kicking it!' Kind of didn’t really give anybody a choice. When you do that, you kind of have to make it."

While the side bump celebration looks cool, it can be a disaster if mistimed. But Tucker said he couldn't pass up the chance try it with Harbaugh.

"That was a first," Tucker said. "I always get nervous when I see the high school and college players doing the jump, side-bump. My whole thing is, if you’re gonna celebrate, stay on the ground, but if it's with the head ball coach, then you do it."
