Christian Yelich issued a response Monday to a video that allegedly showed the Miami Marlins outfielder engaged in a sexual act with a woman.
"A false and defamatory video was tweeted about me the past 24 hrs," Yelich posted on his Twitter account. "It is 100 percent not me in the video. My attorneys are looking into it."
The video and the account that shared it has since been deleted.
Yelich is in his fourth season with the Marlins. The 24-year-old is hitting .318/.399/.475 with seven home runs and 24 doubles in 86 games.
