Yasiel Puig's time at Chavez Ravine could be nearing an end.

Once considered one of the emerging young stars in the game, Puig has struggled this season and now the Los Angeles Dodgers are reportedly open to trading the outfielder, major-league sources tell Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.

Puig has become less of a lightning rod for controversy this season but continues to struggle to put things together offensively. He's hitting .257/.321/.379 with seven home runs, seven doubles, and four stolen bases through 75 games.

Despite concerns regarding his personality and durability, the 25-year-old still serves as an intriguing piece for potential suitors. He's an above average defender, has a blend of speed and power, and is under a team-friendly deal. Puig will earn $7.2 million this season, and is under contract the following two seasons at a little over $17 million total.

Even after releasing Carl Crawford earlier this season, the Dodgers have an abundance of outfielders. However, four of them reside on the disabled list and Rosenthal notes the team could afford to trade for an outfielder that offers more power. Los Angeles' outfielders rank 13th in the majors in home runs, 21st in WAR, and 25th in slugging.
