Harper, girlfriend Varner announce 2nd engagement

Bryce Harper and his high school sweetheart Kayla Varner are ready to tie the knot.

Again.

Varner posted a photo to Instagram of the couple on Thursday, congratulating Harper on his "Best MLB Player" award at the ESPYS and adding in the caption that the pair are engaged again:

Harper and Varner were originally set to marry in January 2015, however the wedding never materialized and rumors began to spread that the couple had split.

The Washington Nationals superstar also uploaded his own Instagram photo Thursday with the caption, "What a week it has been!"
