The San Antonio Spurs announced Thursday the signing of international forward Davis Bertans.
Bertans was acquired in 2011 as part of the trade that sent Kawhi Leonard to the Spurs and George Hill to the Indiana Pacers.
The 23-year-old averaged 8.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, and one assist in 22 games for Spanish ball club Laboral Kutxa last season.
While talented, Bertans has dealt with a number of injuries throughout his career, tearing his ACL in both 2013 and 2015.
Bertans is a strong 3-point shooter, and could strengthen a Spurs bench that lost David West and Boris Diaw earlier this offseason.
