Cleveland Browns running back Isaiah Crowell will donate his first game check of the season to the Dallas Fallen Officers Foundation after Cleveland police threatened to boycott Browns home games in response to a graphic Instagram post by Crowell.

The 23-year-old again apologized in a Facebook video for posting a drawing that depicted a police officer having his throat slit by a masked man in response to last week's killings of two black men by police.

"I know this might not change your mind about me, and I know I can't take the post back, but I'm sorry," Crowell said, according to ESPN. "And moving forward I'm committed to being part of the solution."

President of Cleveland Police Patrolmen's Association, Stephen Loomis, called Crowell's previous apology "store-bought" and threatened to pull all police from the Browns' home games unless the running back produced a more genuine expression of regret.

The Dallas Fallen Officer Foundation assists the families of police officers critically injured of killed in the line of duty.
