Pokemon Go invades MLS action

It was only a matter of time.

Recently released geocache game Pokemon Go has made its way to the North American top flight, with users tracking down various Pokemon critters at MLS venues this past weekend.

The game, which allows players to capture the Pokemon every five minutes at predetermined real-life "Pokestops", had "trainers" make attempts to nab the coveted creatures in stadiums typically reserved for kickabouts.

No word yet if Snorlax is on the New York Red Bulls' radar after the season-ending injury to defender Gideon Baah.
