UFC paints Jones as villain in Cormier-Silva pre-fight video

There's not much doubt about how the UFC wants viewers to think of Jon Jones in light of his removal from UFC 200 for a doping violation.

In the pre-fight video for the matchup between Daniel Cormier (who was to have been Jones' opponent) and Anderson Silva, Jones' transgression and the immediate fallout featured prominently.

The video included a clip of Cormier saying "this kid will not change" in reference to Jones' checkered history of trouble with the law and substance abuse, then cut to footage shot following Jones' recent positive test.

Considered by many to be the most talented fighter ever to step into the Octagon, Jones has insisted his violation was an accident and vowed not to let it define him.

The UFC has taken a much different stance, with president Dana White saying he hasn't spoken to Jones, doesn't plan to, and Jones "should have cleaned house long ago."

Based on the video that aired Saturday, it might be a surprise if Jones ever fights for the promotion again.

Jones' manager Malki Kawa had a one-word response upon seeing the video:
