It had been over two years since Cain Velasquez had his hand raised in the Octagon.

He was back to his old dominant self at UFC 200 on Saturday in Las Vegas, beating Travis Browne all over the cage to win by TKO in the first round of the main-card opener.

Velasquez's 10th knockout finish now gives him the record for most ever in the heavyweight division.

The win could not have been sweeter for Velasquez, who last tasted victory in October 2013 when he won a trilogy bout against Junior dos Santos. This was just his second UFC appearance since then as his body has been ravaged by various injuries.

He had not competed since losing the heavyweight championship to Fabricio Werdum last June.

From start to finish, the performance was vintage Velasquez. He walked the taller Browne down, getting in range to utilize his boxing to continually back Browne up.

A takedown put Browne even further off-balance and by the time Velasquez set him up for a thudding blow that put him down on the mat, the writing was already on the wall for Browne.

The loss completely stops any momentum Browne was hoping to build after a TKO win against Matt Mitrione this past January. He has now alternated wins and losses in his last five fights.
