After 19 incredible seasons, Tim Duncan stepped away from the game of basketball for good.

The Big Fundamental officially announced his retirement on Monday morning, calling it quits on a career that ranks among the greatest of all time.

Here is Tim Duncan's spectacular career in numbers:

26,496 points

While he was never regarded as the greatest scorer of his era, Duncan was about as efficient as they come on the offensive end. The 40-year-old finished his career with 26,496 points - more than Jerry West, John Havlicek, and Charles Barkley.

.710

The Big Fundamental won 71 percent of his games throughout his career, which is not only the best winning percentage in a 19-year stretch in NBA history, but it's also a higher percentage than any of the four major sports teams during that span.

157 playoff wins

The big man collected an incredible 157 postseason wins throughout his career, more than 24 of the 30 NBA franchises.

15 All-Defensive teams

Duncan ranks first all-time in All-Defensive team selections, earning eight first-team and seven second-team honors throughout his career. Somehow, Duncan never managed to win a Defensive Player of the Year award.

5 titles

Duncan's five titles rank among the all-time greats in terms of championship pedigree, and he is the only player to start and win a title in three separate decades.

3,020 blocks

The Wake Forest product finished his career with 3,020 career blocks, more than David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, and Shaquille O'Neal.

2 MVPs

Duncan's stretch of dominance was recognized during the 2001-02 and 2002-03 seasons, as he became just the seventh player all time to earn back-to-back MVP awards.

15 All-NBA selections

Duncan is tied with Kobe Bryant and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most All-NBA selections in a career (15). The Big Fundamental finished with 10 first-team, three second-team, and two third-team honors.

1,001 wins

Duncan is one of three players to collect more than 1,000 career wins thoughout his career. NBA legends Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (1,074) and Robert Parish (1,014) are the other two.

15 All-Star appearances

Duncan's game certainly wasn't tailored for an All-Star Game, but the 6-foot-11 power forward was recognized anyway. Duncan was named an All-Star 15 times, tied for fourth all-time.

15,091 rebounds

While he never won a rebounding title, Duncan still ranks sixth all time in boards, sitting behind Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Elvin Hayes, and Moses Malone.

3 Finals MVPs

The Big Fundamental was at his best when it mattered most, earning three Finals MVPs from 1999-2005. Duncan's 2003 performance inarguably ranks as his best stretch of basketball, when he averaged 24.2 points, 17 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 5.3 blocks, and one steal.

106.34 Defensive Win Shares

Duncan ranks second all-time in defensive win shares (106.34), behind only the legendary Bill Russell. Duncan's dominance on both ends of the floor cannot be understated, as he's the only player in league history to earn 100 offensive win shares and 100 defensive win shares throughout his career.
