The Sheriff of the Jacksonville Police Department is satisfied with accepting that Jaguars running back Denard Robinson fell asleep in a car that happened to be parked in a pond without any wrongdoing.

Robinson was found asleep by police at approximately 4:20 a.m. ET with his car reportedly sinking as it was parked partially in a pond. There were no other vehicles involved, but Robinson had one passenger in the car.

No files were charged, nor were injuries reported.

"I have ordered a review of the incident by the officers’ chain of command. Based on that review, any necessary and warranted corrective action will be taken," Sheriff Mike Williams said in an email to the Florida Times-Union on Wednesday.

The police report stated that Robinson attempted to open the driver's door, submerged in the pond, three times before the officer could convince him the car wasn't on the road. Robinson's passenger had to be pulled out of the car after refusing to exit on her own.

"I was able to wake the driver but had to turn the vehicle off and remove his seat belt," the report said. "The driver thought he was on the road and did not want to exit the vehicle. I had to tell the driver multiple times the car was in a pond and was sinking."
