Capitals' Johansson files for arbitration for 2nd straight year

For the second straight season, Marcus Johansson is seeking a second opinion.
The Washington Capitals forward filed for arbitration ahead of the player-elected deadline at 5 p.m. ET Tuesday.
If Johansson and the Caps needed an arbitration ruling again, would have to be a one-year deal. He'd be a UFA at the conclusion of it.

Johansson was awarded a one-year, $3.75-million contract after tallying 20 goals and 47 points last season. This year, he posted 17 goals and 46 points while playing in eight fewer games.
In other Capitals news, fellow restricted free agent Dmitry Orlov has elected not to file for salary arbitration.
