The Memphis Grizzlies' free-agent spending spree may not be over.
Memphis met Friday with unrestricted free agent Eric Gordon, The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski reports, citing sources. The Grizzlies only have about $8 million in cap space after agreeing to max contracts with Chandler Parsons and Mike Conley, but are trying to create room to land Gordon, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
Gordon has battled a number of injuries during his time in New Orleans, missing 173 games over five seasons.
The 27-year-old averaged 15.2 points, 2.7 assists, 2.2 rebounds on 41.8 percent shooting in 2015-16.
The New York Knicks are reportedly also interested in Gordon, so Memphis will likely have to move quick to create the necessary cap room.
